These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Runiva: Run & Walk. By creating an account or using Runiva, you agree to these Terms. Runiva helps you record runs and walks, track fitness progress, participate in social running features, and optionally subscribe to Runiva Pro. Please use the app responsibly and only where it is safe and lawful to do so.
Runiva is a running and walking application provided by Ketcapp Apps. You may use Runiva only for lawful personal use and in accordance with these Terms, applicable store rules, and any applicable laws or regulations.
You are responsible for the device, network connection, permissions, and third-party accounts needed to use features such as GPS tracking, Apple Health, notifications, maps, Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, and subscriptions.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Runiva. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Runiva only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms. Runners aged 13–17 have extra protections: they cannot make themselves visible in Nearby discovery, and live challenges are limited to runners they follow and who follow them back.
An account is required to use Runiva. You may sign in using supported methods such as Apple, Google, or email. You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in provider and device secure and for activity performed through your account.
Runiva is a fitness and recreational application. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Information such as pace, calories, training metrics, progress, challenges, and fitness estimates is provided for general informational purposes and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Heart rate, heart rate zones, and other readings from Apple Watch or Apple Health are estimates, not medical measurements.
You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you. Consider your health, fitness level, weather, terrain, traffic, local conditions, and any advice from qualified medical professionals. Stop exercising and seek appropriate help if you experience symptoms or conditions that concern you.
Do not look at, interact with, or operate Runiva in a way that distracts you from traffic, vehicles, bicycles, obstacles, other people, or your surroundings. Live challenges, nearby features, leaderboards, records, or achievements must never be treated as instructions to take unsafe risks or violate traffic or access rules.
Runiva uses location information when you record outdoor activities and, if you enable it, may continue an in-progress recording while your screen is locked or the app is in the background. GPS, altitude, distance, pace, maps, and route information can be affected by device sensors, satellite coverage, environmental conditions, battery settings, and third-party services.
You are responsible for reviewing an activity before sharing it and for choosing appropriate privacy settings. Runiva's handling of location, health, profile, and activity information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Runiva may let you publish or share profile information, runs, Echoes, comments, kudos, club activity, challenge results, and other content. You retain ownership of content you create, but you give us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, process, and display that content only as needed to operate and provide Runiva and the sharing options you select.
You may not use Runiva to post, share, or facilitate content or conduct that:
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or protect the integrity and security of Runiva. You can report safety, abuse, or content concerns through our Support page.
Club events, including in-person group runs, are created and organised by users. Ketcapp Apps does not organise, supervise, or vet club events, their routes, or the people who attend them. Use your own judgement before attending, follow local laws and safety rules, and report any event or organiser that breaks these Terms.
Runiva has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. By using Runiva you agree not to post or send content of the kinds listed above, or any content that is sexually explicit, discriminatory, or that targets, bullies, or endangers another person.
Runiva may offer optional auto-renewable subscriptions, including Runiva Pro. Available plans, billing periods, trial eligibility, features, and prices are shown in the app before purchase. Purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play, not directly by Runiva.
Purchases made through the App Store are also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Deleting your Runiva account or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel a store subscription. You must manage cancellation through the store account used to purchase it.
Runiva relies on third-party platforms and services such as Apple, Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple Health, Apple Maps, Google Maps, push notification services, and app stores. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply when you use their services. We do not control their availability, accuracy, or independent processing of information.
Runiva, including its software, interface, branding, graphics, text, features, and other content provided by Ketcapp Apps, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except where permitted by law or an applicable open-source license, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Runiva or attempt to extract its source code.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Runiva or Ketcapp Apps intellectual property to you. Rights not expressly granted are reserved.
If you obtain Runiva through Apple's App Store, your license to the application is also subject to Apple's applicable App Store usage rules and Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If a mandatory store term conflicts with these Terms, the mandatory store term applies to the extent of that conflict.
We may update, improve, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features of Runiva from time to time. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or supported on every device, operating-system version, country, or third-party service.
You may delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Account deletion is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. You may stop using Runiva at any time.
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated violations of these Terms, security threats, fraud, abuse, legal requirements, or conduct that materially harms other users or the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Runiva is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that fitness estimates, GPS measurements, maps, social information, rankings, challenge results, or third-party services will always be complete, accurate, available, or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under consumer-protection law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ketcapp Apps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of Runiva. Any limitations in these Terms apply only to the extent allowed by law and do not limit mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these Terms when Runiva, our services, legal requirements, or business practices change. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use of Runiva after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
